KFAC is celebrating 4 years in the local community!
Ku-ring-gai Fitness and Aquatic Centre opened on 25th October 2014 and has been operating as a valuable part of the local community for the past 4 years. This year, on 28th October 2018, the Centre will be holding a Family Fun Day for all members and the local community to celebrate it’s 4th birthday.
The event will run from 10am-2pm. For a gold coin donation attendees will be able to enjoy, access to the centre’s pools, face painting, pool inflatable, DJ, jumping castle, a polaroid photo booth, and more. There will also be a sausage sizzle
Ku-ring-gai Fitness and Aquatic Centre is part of YMCA NSW in partnership with Ku-ring-gai Council and offers a variety of services including 50m Outdoor pool, Outdoor Program Pool, 25m Indoor Pool, Indoor Program Pool, Toddler Splash Park, Swimming Lessons, Gym, Group Fitness and Small Group Classes, crèche and an onsite café. For the past 4 years, the centre has become a community hub for locals and visitors offering affordable and accessible facilities.
Ku-ring-gai Mayor Jennifer Anderson said Ku-ring-gai Council was a leader in making its new facilities accessible to all users. “Since it opened in 2014, the Ku-ring-gai Fitness & Aquatic Centre has installed additional facilities and provided classes for all members of our community to be able to enjoy spending time there.”
