It’s been awesome to be back on site with you at KFAC since our reopening on Saturday 13th June!
Current programs and services available:
- Health Club access
- Recreational swimming
We are delighted to announce the recommencement of our Group Fitness Classes and Small Group Training (including TeenGym), Personal Training & Cafe (limited hours) from Monday 29th June and Learn to Swim programs from Monday 20th July!
COVID Safety
We have been working hard to ensure the Centre is COVID-Safe. You will see a few changes to our centre, processes and programs to enable us to meet all Government requirements.
Online bookings are essential for our group fitness classes, to ensure we comply with the Government’s COVID-Safe maximum capacity restrictions (Terms and Conditions apply).
We ask that everyone work with us to ensure we all remain safe and have a great time back in the pool. Please make sure you read through our Rebooting Learn to Swim Handbook and discuss all of these changes with your children prior to returning. This will make sure all of our Learn to Swim classes start back well-prepared for a great return.
Direct Debit Billing Recommences Friday 17th July 2020
- For direct debit enrolments, billing will recommence from Friday 17th July
- This debit will be for the period of Monday 20th July to Friday 31st July.
- In this debit, families will be charged for one week’s fees only. This is due to our Monday-Friday students being placed in credit for the closure in March (Monday 23rd to Friday 27th March) and for there being no lessons on Saturday 18th or Sunday 19th July.
- Following this, debits from the 31st of July onwards will be for the normal 2 weeks in advance billing period.
If you would like to gain access to the Centre prior to this date, please notify the staff so that we can reactivate your Family Membership accordingly. If reactivating prior to the 17th July, membership fees in the interim period will be charged at a reduced rate ($48 per fortnight) as a result of not all programs and services currently being available.
If you are not quite ready to return, please notify us by email to request to extend your suspension (Terms and Conditions apply). Please ensure you do this no later than 5pm, Tuesday 14 July 2020.
To ensure a safe return for our customers and adherence to COVID-Safe requirements we request the following:
Attendance Contact Tracing
Should an adult (anyone over the age of 18 who is not registered as a participant in a class) be required to come into the facility (e.g. Parents or Guardians), you will be required to register your name and details via a smartphone and QR Code. Please ensure you bring an appropriate device with you to register your details upon entry.
Feeling Unwell
Please ensure you do not attend the centre if you or your child are feeling unwell, have a cough, cold, sore throat or a temperature.
COVID-Safe Video & Customer Information
Please view our COVIDSafe Video for a sneak peek at what you can expect on-site. We encourage all members to be prepared for all of the changes that we will need to implement for a safe return for us all.
Make sure you keep up-to-date by frequently visiting our Customer Information Page which includes the most recent updates and reopening FAQs.
Stay tuned to the Centre’s social media pages for updates and remember to keep doing your Y at Home Programs to get you ready for your return to the centre! There is something for everyone of all ages and abilities with interactive videos and tips to keep you kicking goals!
Once again, we thank our incredible communities for your understanding and patience during these challenging times.
