The Y NSW recognises that a quality OSHC service requires qualified, committed and compassionate staff, who remain at the forefront of knowledge, practice and theories relevant to middle childhood. We also recognise that consistency of staff is key to the successful operation of an OSHC and to maintaining connections with the school community.
The Centre Coordinator provides high-quality care for your children and is the first point of contact for families. Our Coordinators manage their staff, facilities and the day-to-day operations of the service. Coordinators create stimulating daily and holiday programs, plus nutritious menus. Our Coordinators will be happy to assist with any questions you may have about your child’s time at the Y!
The Educational Leader prepares a written program plan for each aspect of the service, through consultations with the children and the other Educators.
Our Educators support children to learn through play in fun and stimulating learning environments. Activities foster development and allow each child’s growing independence to shine.
Our centralised Child Care Team assist with enrolments, bookings, payments and our behind-the-scenes operations. They can be reached from 6.30am-6.30pm, Monday to Friday by calling 1300 009 679 or emailing childcare@ymcansw.org.au
