Here at YMCA Biddibah OSHC we put on vacation care activities that children look forward to. Art. Craft. Cooking. Sport. Dance. Drama. We even do day trips and excursions to interesting destinations.
No matter what your child is interested in, we’ll plan school holiday activities to suit.
Watch this space for our Winter 2019 progam!
If your required date is fully booked in My Family Lounge, please join the waitlist.
Children should bring a water bottle and any food required. Please check with your local service on meals provided. Children should also bring any personal items to support their individual care needs (e.g. medication or change of clothes).
For day camps and workshops, children must wear appropriate clothing for the season, a broad brimmed hat and enclosed shoes. For excursions, children must wear a Y Vacation Care T-Shirt which can be collected from the Service and charged to your account. Please note, the Y NSW is a sun safe service and children are encouraged to have shoulders covered.
Kindergarten children can attend Vacation Care Workshops or Day Camps once enrolled in formal schooling in the Vacation Care period prior to commencing school. As per the National Regulations, Risk assessments are conducted for each excursion and the Centre Coordinator will determine if planned excursions are suitable for Kindergarten children to attend in the Vacation Care period prior to commencing school. Kindergarten children can attend all other planned excursions in following vacation Care periods for the year. For more information, please refer to the Y NSW Excursion Policy and Procedure, available at your service.
As a not-for-profit provider, the Y NSW works hard to keep the cost of care as low as possible to support all children to access high quality early learning. The Y NSW is an approved provider of the Child Care Subsidy for Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) and may be available to eligible families. Click here to read more
