Before and After School Care Sydney & Newcastle

At the Y NSW OSHC, we provide fun, safe environments where children can make new friends and build their confidence outside of the classroom, while developing inspired minds and active bodies. We recognise the benefits of high-quality care and the difference it can make in a family’s life.

Activities may include
Arts and crafts - Cooking - Drama, dance and music - Quiet reading and games area - Sports and group games - Outdoor leisure and nature play - and much more!

Every day is a different opportunity for children to learn something new! Our experienced Educators tailor programs at Before and After School Care based on children's interests, using the My Time Our Place framework. This nationally approved evidence-based framework emphasises the benefits of providing children with a broad range of opportunities to participate in a variety of leisure and play-based activities.

The Y NSW aims to inspire all children to engage in a healthy and active lifestyle. Breakfast and afternoon tea are served each day in accordance with government recommended healthy eating guidelines. Children are also encouraged to participate in outdoor active play.

We partner with children and families to plan activities, menus and inclusive experiences that support children’s interests and needs. A collaborative learning community is encouraged by promoting opportunities for children to explore, discover and create.

Session times and fees for Before School Care and After School Care vary at each location, for more information contact your local centre.
