Y Spaces are for young people to connect, engage in free activities, and positively impact their local community.
Each Y Space has a team of volunteer Young Leaders who get together to organise events, advocate for young people and build their skills in areas like leadership, event management and more.

The Y NSW is excited to bring you a new, upcoming, Y Space Parramatta, codesigned by young people, for young people. Located in the heart of the Parramatta CBD, the new Y Space will exist as a youth centre for young people aged 12 to 25. It will offer a safe, fun and friendly environment for young people to connect, build skills and seek support. The Y Space aims to enhance the safety and accessibility of young people in the CBD, by providing a wide range of workshops and activities, and linking young people to services within the community that meets their needs. Y Space Parramatta will be a one stop shop for a wide range of wellbeing support, creative workshops and so much more. Stay tuned for the exciting launch of the new Parramatta Y.
Telopea outreach is a partnership project between City of Parramatta and Y NSW to provide afterhours support to young people aged 12-25 living in the Telopea and Dundas Area. Outreach activities in Telopea include a range of creative arts-based programs, wellbeing, and sporting activities, with information, support and advocacy for young people experiencing situations such as homelessness, financial difficulty, disengagement from education and training, employment support or family breakdown. They also provide information and referrals regarding health (physical, mental and social)

The Y Space Camden is run in partnership with Camden Council. The Y Space Camden offers a variety of youth activities and event to the local community and provides young people with a safe and supportive environment.

Y Space Central Coast is located in the heart of Lake Haven Shopping Precinct, our coordinator is based at Gravity Youth Centre. Our programs are run in partnership with Central Coast Council, Waratah Education Foundation, FRRR and alongside headspace and specialist youth services, all working together to best support local young people.

Located in the heart of Cooma is Y Space Cooma Youth Hub, a youth centre for young people aged 12 to 17. It offers a safe and friendly environment for young people to hang out in and is open four days a week.
Y Space Cooma offers a support and advocacy program for young people experiencing situations such as homelessness, financial difficulty, disengagement from education and training, employment support or family breakdown. They also provide information and referrals regarding health (physical, mental and social), transitions, safety, relationships, education, training, employment, culture and justice issues. All of these are available alongside psychosocial support and life skills – social skills, relationships, financial management and budgeting, career advice and support.
Y Space Cooma Youth Hub runs school holiday programs and life skill workshops throughout the year. Afterschool drop-in is also available for young people four afternoons per week.

The Y Space Broken Hill is located within the Broken Hill Regional Aquatic Centre and offers a safe, fun and welcoming environment for young people to connect, build skills and seek support. Discover some fantastic programs that focus on physical and mental wellbeing, life skills, advocacy, and building resilience and more. If you are aged 12 to 25 simply drop by on Wednesday or Thursday between 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm during school terms, no booking necessary.
