Mental Health Month

This October, we're celebrating Mental Health Month at the Y!

The theme for Mental Health Month in 2021 is ‘Tuning In’. We’ve been ‘tuning in’ to Zooms, Google Classroom, webinars, 11am press conferences and there has been so much to take in throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

For Mental Health Month, the Y invites you to ‘tune in’ to your wellbeing. Tune in to yourself, connect with your physical and mental health, connect with your communities, rethink attitudes on mental health and find resources that will strengthen and build your mental and emotional resilience and strength.

Lockdown is a trying time for young people across the country. Call a Youth Worker service is a support line for young people 12-25 to access information about local services and support that can be accessed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sunshine Session with Youth Off the Streets

Tuesday, 5 October 2021 from 3-4pm.

Join the Y NSW and Youth Off the Streets for a relaxed chat in the sunshine.  A space to connect with others, enjoy the sunshine and have a chat about how you’re going in Lockdown. You will have the chance to chat with Youth Workers and Counsellors in a fun, chilled environment.
