In July one new Child Care Subsidy will replace the two current child care payments. This means the child care fee assistance your family receives will change.
Your information does not automatically transition to the Government’s new system.
To transition, you will need to complete an online Child Care Subsidy assessment. You should do this as soon as possible.
Login now to complete your online form through myGov.
The online assessment will ask for you to provide:
- Your 2018 19 family income estimate
- Your activity details
- Confirmation of your child/children’s approved child care enrolment/s
What happens if you do not complete a Child Care Subsidy assessment?
The new subsidy cannot be paid if you do not take action.
On 29 June you will be billed for the first Child Care Subsidy fortnightly period – 2 July to 13 July.
If you haven’t completed the Child Care Subsidy Assessment before 29 June, our system will register that you do not have an eligible entitlement. This means that full fees will be charged.
Remember that the Assessment will take time to process with Centrelink.
Complete your Child Care Subsidy assessment now to ensure you don’t miss out on child care fee assistance.
