We are delighted to announce the acquisition of East Gymnastics, a well-established gymnastics business in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney that now joins the Y NSW. This strategic acquisition marks a significant milestone in the Y NSW’s commitment to expanding and enhancing our gymnastics offerings across New South Wales.
East Gymnastics has been a cornerstone of the Eastern Suburbs community for over 12 years, providing high-quality recreational gymnastics classes to hundreds of gymnasts of all ages. The business operates out of a custom-built gymnasium and is known for its focus on safety and fun.
“With this acquisition, the Y NSW aims to further enhance its ability to deliver outstanding gymnastics programs,” explained the Y NSW CEO Rob Kennaugh.
“The integration of East Gymnastics into the Y NSW will expand the geographic coverage and diversity of the programs we offer. The experienced coaches from East Gymnastics will join the Y NSW team, bringing additional expertise and enriching the existing programs,” he added.
The Y NSW has a proud history of excellence in gymnastics, with five venues across the state, serving over 4,000 weekly participants and supported by 120 coaches. The Y NSW’s gymnastics programs have received numerous accolades, including the NSW KinderGym Program of the Year 2023 and NSW Inclusion Club of the Year for multiple years.
“We are excited to work with the East Gymnastics team to see a smooth transition and are looking forward to seeing the positive benefits that this expansion will bring to all members and customers,” concluded Mr Kennaugh.
