Y Recipes - Turkish Bread Pizza

I N G R E D I E N T S

  • 1 x 450g turkish bread
  • Bottle of spray olive oil
  • 200g bottle of pizza sauce (e.g. Leggos squeezy pizza sauce with garlic, onion & herbs)
  • 1 x zucchini, grated
  • 1/2 x capsicum, diced
  • 80g mushrooms, diced
  • 1 cups diced ham (or shredded chicken breast) – approximately 500 grams
  • 1 cups grated tasty cheese (low fat)

M E T H O D

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C
  2. Cut turkish bread in half lengthways and lay the halves out on baking tray. Spray with olive oil.
  3. Place in oven for approximately 5 minutes (until slightly crunchy)
  4. Spread each slice with pizza sauce, then top with grated zucchini, diced capsicum, diced mushrooms and diced ham (or chicken)
  5. Sprinkle a generous handful of grated cheese over each pizza. 
  6. Bake in the oven for approximately 8-10 minutes (until the cheese has melted)
  7. Use a sharp knife to cut the bread into wedges, and serve

This recipe is egg free and will serve 3 - 4 people

Substitutions:
GF: Use GF pizza base  DF: Omit cheese V: Omit ham/cheese
